Set Inventory Stock status as Out of Stock as default

    Does anyone know how I can set the Inventory Stock status dropdown as “Out of Stock” as default on all new products added. ?

  • Hi there,

    There’s no way to set the stock status as Out of Stock by default. If you really need to achieve this, you can make it possible by making code customizations to the stock_status object’s field’s default parameter from instock to outofstock.
