Set ‘from’ dynamically

Is there a way to send mail through php by specifying ‘from’ (and any necessary authentication values) in my code before I send the mail using your plugin. My use case is that I have multiple accounts on my organisation that I send mail from depending on the situation, setting one email account in the options isn’t viable.
