Set English language BUT with GB + US

  • Hi team,

    My site uses en-GB right now.
    But my target is also US.

    I try to put only en in the field ‘locale’. BUt header gives en-US

    If I install US language it creates 2 languages ( even in translation, which looks weird for english)

    I am sorry if an answer exists already but I cannot find any resources for this.
    Am I missing something ? Is it possible ? HOw ?
