Set Departure Dates

    Hi there,

    At this stage we only have the free version. I am interested in the higher version and need to know if, as a travel agency advertising tours, we can build specific departure dates in to the calendar with a set duration.

    For example if a tour departs every second Saturday and runs for 10 days, can that be reflected in the calendar?

    Also, if there are multiple places available for tours, can we set the number of times the tour can be selected before it becomes ‘unavailable’ or sold out?

    Hello.
    1) Booking Calendar support only inline month view calendars, where visitors can select days for the booking. If you need to select several (minimum or specific) number of days in calendar, then probably you will be interesting in the “range days selection” mode with 1 or 2 mouse clicks in the Booking Calendar Business Small and higher versions.     2) Also because of your business workflow, you can be interesting in the search availability feature, that available in the Booking Calendar Business Large and higher version. Your website, visitors can select the check-in and check-out days and number of visitors to search availability. Please read more about it here: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#search

    3) Relative to this request: “our departs every second Saturday and runs for 10 days”. In the Booking Calendar Business Medium and higher versions You can define only specific dates as “start days for days selections” in calendar in booking form (please note, its does not work in search form).     4) If you need to make the specific number of bookings per days, then you need to check the Booking Calendar Business Large version, where is possible to make several reservations per specific FULL date(s) by visitors (not time slots).     At this version is possible to set capacity of the booking resource, so date(s) in calendar will be available until number of reservations is less then capacity of the booking resource.But in this version is possible to make reservation only for FULL date, not a time slots (time slots in this version only record data in the DB, but do not play any logic in reservation).

    I think the question was related to Zingiri Bookings? If so, yes this is possible. When you set up a product you can either choose to use the resource calendar or you can predefine scheduled dates and durations. And of course you can manage the number of places available on the tour.
