    Hello, thank you for your fantastic plugin.
    Could you help me to set the default language to Chinese (Simplified) please.
    Website language is English but I would like this website to automatically load in Chinese (Simplified) (or show in Chinese shortly after load) without having to choose from the dropdown.

  • One more thing. If I selected the language flag last and closed the website, the website opens in that language again. Plugin doesn’t automatic translate in Romanian

    The translator will re-translate to the last selected language. That’s how Google built it, and cannot be changed. Although, you could remove the cookie that holds selected language when the page loads.

    It seems you have made a tweak in the javascript code, and most likely it solved one of your issues and created a new one.

    If you allow the visitor to select another language, that will create situations in which the translator will translate to that language, and then to Romanian or vice versa.

    You should check if the cookie exists, and if it does, don’t do anything else and let the translator handle it. The cookie name is googtrans, see: document.cookie.
