Set default featured image?

    Is it possible to set a default image so that if a post author forgets to set a featured image the slider will still show an image?

    This is critical for a site I’m working on for a non-profit – they have a few different people who post and don’t want a blank grey box (option set 1) showing – they want a default image to show up if the author forgets.

    I still REALLY need help with this……

    I just updated to the current version (1.2) and notice that there is no option to set a default image for a Post if the author forgets to set a featured image. I would rather not hack the plugin since that makes it tricky to do updates.

    Can anyone recommend something I could maybe add to the template or functions that would call a default image?

    Hi, sorry for the late answer. I am trying to give you an update shortly. Though there is a major update is coming ahead at next month.

    Update to version 1.2.1 you will get the option for template one. Now I simply add option for give file URL and later there will be file up-loader. So you can easily choose file from media library or can upload new one easily.

    Wonderful – thank you so much!! It works great too. I really appreciate that you added this feature, I’m sure many people will find it useful. I just gave it a well-deserved 5-star review.

    I have one more request, apologies if I should start a new thread for this, but can you add an option to have it *not* load all the scripts on pages where there is no slider?
