Set default content permissions

Hi,

I am setting up a site where most of the pages are for subscribers only and a few pages are open to the outside world.

I understand that under the “Content Permissions” metabox all roles are un-checked by default to allow access to ‘everyone’.

Is there a way to change it so that it defaults to ‘Subscribers’ (or any other role)?

I did not find such option in the Members settings page.
