Set default campaign category on campaign submission form by link click

I was wondering if there’s a way to set the category that is selected on the campaign creation form after clicking a link.
So let’s say, I have one page that has 3 campaign creation options on it – create a campaign for the holidays, your school, your birthday, toys for tots, etc. And all of these things are campaign categories that are set already.
Would it be possible to click on one of the “create a campaign” links from that page (so say, I clicked on Create a Campaign For My Birthday), which would then direct me to the campaign creation page, and have that category automatically selected on the Create a Campaign form?
PS: I am currently using the Ambassador plugin with Charitable Pro, and have Code Snippets installed, with a snippet that turns the Campaign Category on the submission form into a select dropdown box.
