Set Cover Image and Sampler Chapter Upload not working

    I just downloaded the free version of the MyBookTable plugin and neither the “Set Cover Image” nor the Sample Chapter upload buttons work in “Add Book”. I’ve 1) tried in both the Firefox and Chrome browsers. 2) Deleted the plugin and reinstalled. 3) Cleared all caches. 4) Disabled all other plugins and tried again. 5) Attempted from two different computers. Still cannot upload a cover image or a sample chapter for any book. I’m running the 2014 Theme. I don’t want to buy an upgrade until I know basic functionality works.

  • I’m experiencing the same problem, but only on a site that didn’t previously have the plugin. I updated the plugin to the latest version on another site, and the buttons still work fine. So it seems to be a problem with fresh installs.

    Hi sixtalonsign and sjedev,

    Thank you for pointing this out and giving through details of what you were seeing, this turned out to be some kind of error with uploading the most recent version of the plugin to the WordPress plugin repositories servers. We just released a new version earlier today and for some reason if you downloaded it from the servers here the javascript you would get would not be the proper code for this current version, so I forced a re-update to the servers and bumped the version number up to make sure everyone re-downloads the correct code. The issues should be fixed for both new and existing websites now after updating and clearing your browser cache.

    hello i’ve just downloaded my booktable and i cannot set the cover image.

    I have fixed that problem so if you download the new version it should address your problem. Let me know if you continue to have problems after redownloading the most recent version.

    Hello I uninstalled and redownloaded and it is still does not work for changing the cover image.

    I have Version 1.3.4 pf my book table

    Just downloaded plugin today (pro version) and I’m having the same problem with the cover image not loading.

    Nevermind–it just started to work! Didn’t do anything on my end, but it’s all good now.
