Set Cookies for User-Roles (additional Plug in)

    Hi there,

    i use a Ad-Network (EZOIC) which need a specific Cookie to block out Adverts for specific User-Roles like i can set up with your PlugIn. My premium Users shoud not be shown Adverts as they pay for a website without Adverts.

    The only thing i need is some tool to set up a cookie which contains the User-Role.

    I found anothet membership-Plug in which did exactly this kind of stuff for exactly the same Ad-Network i use. Maybe this helps you to bring this option available to Simple Membership as well?

    Hi, We have the following cookie that is set when a member successfully logs into the site. So you might be able to use this cookie to remove ads from your members:

    swpm_in_use

    The condition that you can set in your ad configuration is that when this cookie is present, don’t show ads.

    We don’t have any mechanism for role based cookies. Generally speaking, we try to avoid using cookies unless it is absolutely necessary. So if you need additional cookies to be dropped based on user roles, we can most likely create a custom solution for you.     Well i need specific Cookies, as not each member shoul be blocked out from Adverts, just the Premium ones ?? That is why i was refering to the additional “Mini Plug in” from Ultimate Members in my first Posting, as this is exactly what i am looking for. I have send you a contact by the “normal” Support Contact Form. Plese be so kind and reply asap, as i need this stuff.
