Set composite checkbox option to be unchecked by default

  • Is it possible to set composite checkbox option to be unchecked by default when visiting the product page?

    Help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi @makkuus,

    No, you can’t set up the checkbox option unchecked by default in our plugin.
    If you don’t like the ” Checkbox” option by default, you can use “Option None” in our plugin to tell buyers that they don’t choose any item and want to remove an optional component from the order.

    thank you very much for your help!
    The reason why I chose to use the checkbox option is that I wanted a simple, minimal option without images on side (neither placeholder, nor product image. only text).

    I guess thats not possible with the “Option None”, right?

    Actually both discussed options here would be great to have for the future:
    1. Using the checkbox option with unchecked boxes by default
    2. Using “Option None” without images
