Set category automatically to featured image on post create

    Hello,

    Is it possible to set an Att. category automatically to a featured image when a custom post type is created/updated? Just for a specific post type.

    Thanks for the question. The short answer is “of course” – all things are possible with filters, actions and some PHP code. You can write a small custom plugin for your site to accomplish your goal.

    You might be able to build on or adapt one of MLA’s example plugins, “MLA Dynamic References Example”, for this purpose. That plugin updates some custom fields related to Featured Image status and you could set an Att. Categories term instead.
