    @regarding WP External Links Plugin

    Hello, I would actually like to set all outgoing links to Nofollow, but 3-4 URLs to Do Follow. How do I do that?

    What I have done so far, under the grid external links settings activated, overrides existing values clicked, set to nofollow and override existing values, then added relative-attribute “noopener” and saved.

    ?Then I went to “Exceptions” and clicked on “all contents”, and under Exclude external links by URL I named all URls that I wanted to set to Dofollow. At “own settings for excluded links” I set to “own settings for excluded links (extra tab). Also the Ignore all links in script blocks is activated and ignore all mailto links also. Then I saved.

    But the problem is, that the URLS I want to have dofollow are still nofollow? ??What did I do wrong?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    When you set a URL to be ignored by WPEL it means it will leave it as is. If the URL did have nofollow in HTML before, it will remain like that, so you will need to edit the HTML yourself to remove “nofollow”.

    If that’s not the case please go to the Support tab in WPEL and copy/paste the technical info.

    If we choose “Ignore all links in <script> blocks”, it should not affect regular links, just the script blocks.
    I also have the same issue, where I do not have “nofollow” in the HTML, the link is added to “Exclude external links by URL” and have setting in the “excluded links” to set the links to dofollow and even “Overwrite existing values” and the links are still nofollow.

    I noticed it happened after a recent upgrade, as it was working fine before.
