Session with variable

Hello
I’am looking for this pluguin and wonder if i can use it on my case
I will have some product list + link, when i clic on link it send ?variable=XX url to complete a formular
I will know with this plugguin if i can put this variable on session
so when user go in another part of website and come back, the field can still with the variable
