Can you describe it a little bit more? How I understood it, it’s not a problem of my plugin because the plugin is just changing the header and footer html structure.

If a logged in user leaves their session too long (or closes their browser and opens it later and it is set to remember their open tabs), WordPress popups up a modal dialog prompting them to reauthenticate.
Inside that modal dialog it displays the full login page, in this case header/footer and all.
So would there be a way to update the plugin to check if the page is in a modal dialog or not and only load the header and footer if it is a real page?

Sorry now I understood. I’m planning a rewrite of this plugin. If I have time I’ll fix this problem.

    Thank you for the report!

Thank you, that would be an awesome fix! Most similar plugins I’ve tried have the exact same problem and none have fixed it that I know of.

Should be fixed in the version 1.4.6. You can try it if you want.

PS: The code quality of this plugin is really poor. The rewrite is still planned ??
