    Hi,

Great plugin, thank you. Been using it on several sites for 2 years.

On a new site for my custom role “charity” I was getting the modal login screen in the dashboard after a few seconds with the message: “Session expired. Please log in again. You will not move away from this page.”

Disabling the Custom Login solved the issue, but I would very much like to use it.

    Additional information
Charities (a system for charities to edit their own CPT-based profile)

Create the “charity” role with User Role Editor.
Base the role on the Contributor role, but disable all post capabilities except View.

Random passwords for new charities with WP Password Generator.

Use ToolSet Types plugin to create Charity post type.
Enable Author for charity post type so individual charities can be assigned to their page.

Use ToolSet Access to limit capabilities of charity contributor role.

Use IM8 Box Hide to limit the Screen Options for charity contributor role.

Use Peter’s Login Redirect to redirect charity contributors to all charities posts.
(I tried disabling this when troubleshooting the issue)

Use the User Groups plugin to tidy up the Users section in the dashboard.

Which version of Custom Login are you using?

    Hi Austin,
    This version: 3.0.8

I see there’s a Session section in General Options. They are set to the default 2 and 14.
My timezone in WordPress General Settings is Johannesburg (UTC +2)

Some problems here. I get kicked out every 10 seconds or so. Just installed the plugin ?? Either “Session expired” or I need to login again without any comment. The login screen just pops up.
    Any ideas?

    I’m also using 3.0.8

    Best regards

I have the same problem after installing the latest update and even worst I can not disable the plugin at all.

Please advice urgent I’m using the latest wordpress updates all themes are
    up to date

Update 3.0.8.1 seems to fix it! thank you very much ??

I can not disable or delete it at all even after this update

Now I get this WordPress failure notice: Are you sure you want to do this?

    Please try again.

Login via FTP, go to wp-plugins folder and custom-login, delete all files from this folder. Then download the latest version of the plugin and upload the contents of the unzipped folder back into the same directory. You will now be able to login.
