Servings range

    Hi there,

    Google wants to see 1 number in the recipe metadata, which is why we’ve built the field that way as well. For some of our features like adjustable servings and the shopping list we also need that to be 1 clear value.

    I recommend using the recipe notes field if you need to clarify a range (and why there is a range).

    How is WP Tasty able to include a range for serving size? I assume they’re following correct schema markup.

    @joshkern Not sure how they handle things, but Google is pretty clear in its documentation: “Specify the number of servings produced from this recipe with just a number” (emphasis mine).

    Nutrition facts need to be per serving as well, and for adjustable servings (to any value your visitors want, not just 2x, 3x, …) you will need to pick 1 value too, so I do feel like requiring a single number is best.
