Services Only Showing One Icon

  • I am in the process of setting up my website and have added the services plugin. I filled in all 3 available locations and the corresponding icons, but only the first 2 are showing. The third shows that something has been selected as there is a circle there where it would be, but no icon. I have tried multiple icons to test it, they work fine in the first two but not on the far right hand side.

    For the services, you don’t need to use a plugin. You can simply go to the Appearance > Widgets in the dashboard and insert the TG: Service Widget in the Business Sidebar. You can select the page and insert the class for icon as fa-bolt.

    My apologies, but that is what I’m referring to. I have entered the class for multiple icons into the third service spot and none of them are showing – instead I get an empty circle where the icon should be. It’s not he class for icon that’s incorrect as I can enter those same parameters into the first 2 icon spots and they show correctly.

    I’m also curious as to if there is a way to limit how much text is displayed under the ‘service’ so that it doesn’t start into the next paragraph on the page that it is pointing to.

    I am trying to ‘test drive’ with your free version of Ample to determine if I believe that the paid version is right for my site. It’s a good chance to determine if I can iron out the minor glitches to get the site I want or if I should keep looking…

    The icons are showing fine while checking on our development environment. Can you provide us with a URL to your site so that we can inspect it and give you a proper solution?

    As for limiting the text, you can simply insert the text you want to show in the Excerpt of the Page Editor. Only the text inserted in the Excerpt will be shown in the service widget.
