Service unavailable Woocommerce Cart

Dear Mr, Mrs,
I have a strange issue on my webshop. I can do everything and even add items to the cart but when i click on the order button i get a indicator for about 15 seconds and then Woocommerce turns up a error message “service unavailable”. This appears as a message in the error bar of Woocommerce. I have already turned off all my Woocommerce plugins but the error stays.
In fact the order comes through to the backoffice and stock is lowered but the client doesn’t get a message that the order is placed. Instead he gets an error…
What can cause this issue?
