I was trying to figure out something last night and changed the WordPress address URL by mistake, locking myself out. I spoke with my host and he was able to get in to fix it, but now my site has a “service suspension” when I go to log in.

I THINK I’m using 3.1.1 — I was planning to update it and then I got locked out.

    It’s a food blog. https://TheMacKayWay.com/food

The page is still there but now none of the photos come up and none of the posts link to their content. And I can’t log in.

    The other sites:
    https://TheMacKayWay.com, https://TheMacKayWay.com/craft, https://TheMacKayWay.com/hg are all fine.

Anyone know how I can get the /food site to no longer be suspended?

  • I can see your site – complete with photos. It takes an age to load but it does get there… eventually. Message such as “Service suspended” are nothing to do with WordPress. They’re placed there by your hosts.

Are you using multisite by chance if so then you will need log in your primary domain and find where you food site suspended.

@esmi – I’ve checked with my host and he said they have done nothing that would suspend my site. You can see https://TheMacKayWay.com/food complete with photos and the links work? Yes – it’s painfully slow to load (which I also need to figure out why??)

@govpatel – currently they are 4 completely separate sites (I’m trying to learn how to link them properly – I’m VERY new to this.)

The layout looks a little broken but I can see photos. The links to archives appear to work. Didn’t try any more links as the site is sooo slow, it’s taking a few minutes for each page to load. You might want to start by:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
