  • We’ve just exchanged some emails on this subject, but for the benefit of others:

    This applies to the Enterprise version only.

    It does use the Service Account to reach the Drive API – but on behalf of an admin user for most customers. It should be possible just to enter a Service Account email address instead of the admin’s email address though, provided you find another way for that Service Account to grant relevant OAuth2 perms to the project first if you want to avoid delegation.
