Why do I have hundreds of visits from my own IP to different directories of my wordpress with banhammer-process_ description: /wp-admin/network/cloud.php?banhammer-process_XXX. Like if it were scanninng all my directories searching for cloud.php?banhammer-process…?

Glad to help. Which version of the plugin are you using? The “banhammer-process” issue was a bug fixed several versions ago.

    Hi,

    Banhammer?3.4.1
    PHP: 8.1.25
    WordPress: 6.3.2
    MariaBD: 10.6.15
    WordPress Memory Limit: 2 GB

    What do I do?
    Best regards,

Okay thanks. Yeah it shouldn’t be happening, those requests are meant to be internal and not appear in the Armory/logs. Is the site running any cache plugins (or similar) by any chance?

    Dear Jeff,

I’m using wp fastest cache. Should I exclude something from cache? Also I’m using redis object cache.

Yeah the heavy caching probably is throwing it off somehow. You can try troubleshooting to see which one it is or maybe combination of both, or neither.

“Should I exclude something from cache?”

No, because the banhammer-process queries happen for every request coming to your site. Note that for performance sake, the banhammer-process queries only are made when the admin user is logged in and visiting the plugin page; they are not made otherwise for any reason.

    Dear Jeff,

Thank you for your support. I found all your plugins very useful. I’ll be troubleshooting. Also I’m using the firewall 7G and automatic blacklist.

    Best regards,

Sounds like a plan, let me know if I can provide any information about the plugin. Thank you, Alejandro.
