Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for ViewCategory Event

    Hi,

    My Facebook Pixel Diagnostics gave me the error message: ‘Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for ViewCategory Event’

    I have ViewCategory firing on my website, checked through Pixel Helper and in the overview it says it’s active.

    Once going through ViewCategory>View Details>Event Matching, the issue is shown again, this time as ‘Server sending invalid Click ID (fbc) parameter.’

    Additionally ViewCategory doesn’t show up as an event option on my list when i want to configure web events in Aggregated event measurement.

    Unfortunately I am not a developer, would welcome all the help.

    Hi @flagelo91,

    Thanks for reaching out to us on this! There is currently an issue with match key parameters that we’ve reported to the Facebook for WooCommerce developers. You can learn more about this issue here: https://github.com/facebookincubator/facebook-for-woocommerce/issues/1777

    The current recommended steps for troubleshooting this issue are:

    1) Check that your pixel is connected. You can troubleshoot pixel issues using the Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome extension.
    2) Make sure there aren’t any browser extensions – such as ad blockers – blocking Facebook user agent and IP addresses
    3) Enable debug logging for the Facebook plugin on your site, and see if you are getting any obvious errors
    4) Regularly clear your site cache

    If you don’t see any difference after following those steps, I recommend following the GitHub bug report above for any updates and further details on this issue!
