The error I am having in my Facebook event management kit is mentioned with the Topic.

Issue: Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for Signal Event

Your server is sending an invalid ip_address parameters value for your Signal event. This may be because there was an error in the parameter value.
This may cause issues with the attribution and delivery optimization of ad campaigns that are using this event.

Why this occurs? I couldn’t take a process from here since I am not quite sure of where to start.

    Hi @roshanzaid

Apologies for the delayed response ??

The only resource when I checked Signal Event, is related to a different plugin called PixelYourSite. Do you use this plugin to set up your Signal event?

Standard events that come with Facebook for WooCommerce are PaveView, AddToCart, Checkout, Purchase, etc, these are the ones that are important for your store.

Please let me know so we can have an appropriate approach to troubleshoot this.

I can’t really say. You would need to ask the developers of the PixelYourSite plugin here:

Sorry I can’t be of more help here! ??

okay, Then Please have a look at these errors apart from signal events.

    1. Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for PageView Event

Your server is sending an invalid fn, ln parameters value for your PageView event. This may be because there was an error in the parameter value.
This may cause issues with the attribution and delivery optimization of ad campaigns that are using this event.

    2. Server Sending Invalid Match Key Parameters for ViewContent Event

Your server is sending an invalid email parameters value for your ViewContent event. This may be because there was an error in the parameter value.
This may cause issues with the attribution and delivery optimization of ad campaigns that are using this event.

    This also belongs to PixelYourSite?

If you’re using PixelYourSite to connect to Facebook, instead of Facebook for WooCommerce, then yes, all your Facebook-related errors would be related to PixelYourSite.

This forum deals specifically with issues related the use of the plugin Facebook for WooCommerce, not Facebook in general. You should reach out to the forum of the plugin that you’re having issues with.

Do you use Facebook for WooCommerce? And do your errors persist even after disabling PixelYourSite?

    Hi,

Thank you for making it clear. Answers to your question – Do you use Facebook for WooCommerce? Yes I do, and I use both Pixel as well since I was facing the same issue before Installing Pixel. The reason I installed pixel because I was already having the same issues I mentioned up there.

And do your errors persist even after disabling PixelYourSite? Yes. I know it’s weird. but yes.

Ok, you have disabled PixelYourSite but the error persists.

    My next suggestion is:

    • Keep PixelYourSite disabled, as you want to use only Facebook for WooCommerce solely handling the pixel
    • Clear your site cache, disable any cache if possible, or clear cache regularly if you use a caching plugin
    • Clear WooCommerce transient data (temporary Woo cached database)on this section WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right)
    • Update Facebook for WooCommmerce to the latest
    • Go to Marketing > Facebook > Product sync, and then click the sync button to resync everything back to Facebook, when your site now is clean

I hope that helps, let me know how it goes.
