Server runs out of memory – available memory is 320MB

Ok, so this is crucially important, before installing and using Blogger Importer Extended, my site was running beautifully fast. After I used it to (painfully) import almost 30000 articles over the course of several days, I finally have them all (I didn’t import images, comments, etc, only posts).
But now my server is very slow, my website takes 7-8 seconds to load uncached content on a 50Mbps connection. My provider says one of my plugins must be running out of memory (which is weird, 320MB is more than enough RAM for any wordpress installation).
This lead to my WP Automatic plugin not functioning properly at all, and a general site slowdown.
I uninstalled Blogger Importer Extended, I cleaned up my DB, I uninstalled/reinstalled WP Automatic, and my server is in the same condition.
It’s clearly obvious that the problem was caused by the importer, and not anything else. That is why I require assistance from the developer, or anyone with a similar problem.
I cannot stress how much I’ll appreciate a solution to this problem, as it’s currently the only reason my site is not live (even though it should be)
