Server Running PHP 8.2 Still Can’t Update Plugin

    Hi, our server is running php 8.2 and I need to update this plugin as its breaking the site. However, Im unable to update this plugin because it says it needs a high version of php in order to update it. We’re hosted on Flywheel and I’ve double checked with the support that we are running 8.2. Any ideas how I can get this to go away and update it?

    Thanks for your message.

    The mechanism for requiring a minimum PHP version is the one built into WordPress. BNFW is essentially just telling it “anything over 8.0” in order to install/update.
    I haven’t run into any issues with this from PHP 8.0 to 8.3.

    You can manually download the plugin from www.remarpro.com and install it via FTP in order to force an update but this may break something further if something isn’t right.

    Can you tell me what about the plugin is breaking your site?
