server requirement for the working of the script?

Hi Im having trouble editing a site; im almost sure it’s down to the hosting as it effects the other website which the company runs too (i can log into wp fine but when i got to edit a page it times out saying the server isn’t responding) anyway I’ve been asked by the hosting company to provide the exact server requirement for the working of the script.
Could anyone help with how I find this out please?
