  • Hi Daiv, WP e-Commerce Plugin uses WordPress standards where possible, each release brings it even closer (e.g. Sales and Coupons joining Custom Post Types in a future update). Reducing the memory footprint of this Plugin is a priority.

I’d be interested in knowing what the other e-Commerce platforms use as a benchmark (e.g. 100 Products, with variations, Pictures and File Downloads).

In the meantime, please raise your maximum memory allocation in PHP for your WordPress site.

    Thanx for the response,
I would be interested to know if my reading of 9+ mega consumption is consistent with other users, with just the basic install and default products.
I commend your transition of the various elements to use WordPress standards. This is very good.

I understand that breaking a php project into on demand classes can reduce ram requirements, I’m trying to reduce the usage of my own plugins.

Yes raise memory, full system on this one project is running at 58 mega. A bit much…
