server php_network_getaddresses fails during setup
-
I have installed Postie but cannot get Test Config to work.
Error message is:
- Warning: stream_socket_client(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /home2/optrenoc/public_html/ties.charity/wp-content/plugins/postie/lib/pSocketConnection.php on line 37
- Warning: stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to tls://mail.ties.charity :993 (php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known) in /home2/optrenoc/public_html/ties.charity/wp-content/plugins/postie/lib/pSocketConnection.php on line 37
- Unable to connect. The server said: There was an error connecting to the server php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known
I have checked the obvious (username, password, and that email address can receive emails), and every combination of POP and IMAP settings. Tried various admin users too. Tried cURL instead of sockets. Uninstalled and reinstalled Postie. Nothing works. I am successfully using Postie on another addon domain on the same Linux server with exactly the same settings. What am I doing wrong???
Thanks.
