It’s difficult to say exactly because dedicated servers vary so much in their specification and the load on the server depends on what much interaction those attendees have, for example if they are asking a lot of questions then it will add quite a bit of overhead. Attendees also ‘ping’ the server every minute to make sure that nobody else has logged in with the same email address as a security measure.
With WebinarPress Pro you can activate ‘WebinarPress Connect’ which adds real-time websockets to take a lot of the load off your servers and we have customers hosting webinars with 800+ attendees without too much trouble but 1000 would really be the upper limit for the user interface.
