Server original file to other plugin

  • For another plugin I need the original file format (png). However when choosing the image to use via the mediathek, this plugin reports that the image is not in the right format.
    How to serve the original file in such cases? Or is there a way for the plugin developer of the other plugin to make sure they get the correct format?

    I have tried the “dontreplace” variant, however it doesn’t work as an URL argument and neither as a file. The image is still served as webp. I have updated the htaccess beforehand.

    Did you solve it?
    I have a very similar problem.
    In my case, the plugin generates its own thumbnail and has its own cache. When it loads the first time ok, but when creating the webp it no longer loads
