Server Optimization Question.

    I have a VPS Server with what I believe to be very strong specs. 4gb Ram Quad Core etc. What is the best way to configure the server for wordpress? My goal is to decrease load time to under 2 seconds. I’ve heard about separating the Mysql database but if that helps how is it done?

    Note: I’m running a CentOs Linux Server and cPanel with WHM.
