Server Non Responsive After Installing

  • I just uploaded the NextGEN gallery to my WP site – and after the upload was completed and I activated the plugin, I can no longer access my site – I am checking with the hosting provider now, but it appears to be NextGen related. I can’t even get into the cpanel for it because I can’t get to the site.

    Help would be very much appreciated!

    hi there,

    what else do you need? I’m pretty new to this whole thing but if you tell me what you need I can get it for you.
    I’m at a bit of a loss because I can’t even access the site, let alone the dashboard for it to get any details

    @vanessamnedvins – You can start by sending in the Bug Report as suggested earlier. We will likely need log in and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation to get a better look under the page. Please include those with your Bug Report.

    Vanessa, I am having similar issues…this plug-in does something they are not letting on.

    Every time I edit or create a gallery by adding images, my server goes unresponsive for 30 minutes or more… The only thing I can do is wait, and then close my browser and clear the cache…

    During that time, the site is inaccessible, and I can’t log into my cpanel either…

    Let me know if you find out what is going on.
