server lockup

  • we’re using professional hosting from WebSynthesis/CopyBlogger. it’s pretty solid…not that GlueHost crap. still, when i try to run the bulk process, it locks up my site. i can’t access the admin side or the website.

    it does get some photos done in the meantime…about 160 so far. but, as you’d expect, i can’t have the site going down while trying to process. i know the plugin will automatically compress new photos. is there any way for me to go through my media library one at a time to do this? i’ve got about 900 photos left to compress.

    never mind. it crashed my site again, while not even processing. when i disable the plugin via ftp, i get my site back. so…i’ll find something else. good luck!
