• Hello,

I have a relatively large total number of visitors on my blogs (55k uniques per day according to Google Analytics), and at the present time I’m getting very close to the CPU usage limits allowed by my mutualized hosting plan, even with caching and as many optimizations and simplifications as possible.
And yet, this is a pretty powerful mutualized hosting plan, the most powerful I could find.
There’s only one next step : moving to a VPS or a dedi, something much more expensive and much more complicated, I must absolutely avoid this.

In this regard, I’m wondering : please, if you’re having medium to important traffic, enough to care about monitoring the stress you put on the servers hosting you, have you seen a change in terms of server impact, since the wordpress 2.92 – 3.0 migration ?
Especially in terms of CPU usage ?

Because of that question, I’m delaying the moment to make the transition myself…

Thank you very much if you can share your experience reports with me, I’ll be grateful ??
