Support said that supposedly your plugin creates a large number of requests to the database. My colleague and I wondered: when writing an article, does the plugin access the database once or in proportion to the number of tags? For example, I have 2000 tags and after writing 10 articles in an hour the plugin will access the database 20000 times?

    Hi @domobisnes

    Thanks for using TaxoPress.

Our plugin won’t impact the normal relationship of WordPress and terms at all, unless you start enabling specific TaxoPress features.

In that case, the server load will depend on which features you have and the settings you choose for that feature.

I don’t understand anything from your answer… Let me ask you specifically about Auto Terms. When generating Auto Terms for an article, if I have 2000 tags, how many database queries will there be.

    Hi @domobisnes

This will depend on the settings you choose for Auto Terms.

This has details on reducing database queries: https://taxopress.com/analyze-200000-posts/

I’m not talking about adding tags to existing content, I’m talking about creating one article and generating tags for it. Once again, I’m asking how many database queries will be made if there are 2,000 tags.
