Server get stuck when publish or edit any post

    Every time publishing or updating any post if I don’t uncheck “send notification” afer update button “waiting for server…” begin and page never reload. All site get stuck…(503 error) so need to rename bbPress Notify pugin via ftp, delete cache and site come back online again…
    How to fix that?

    Hi @principiante,

    The Send Notification box, when checked, forces notifications in real time as opposed to sending it the background – this is mostly for testing. You can make it unchecked by default in the bbpnns settings > Topics and Replies tabs(Admin UI Notifications).

    Renaming the plugin to deactivate it won’t do much as the process is in memory while you do that. It’s probably just finishing by the time it takes you to rename it.

    Make sure you have the background notifications option checked in the General tab as it looks like you have lots of recipients (or you wouldn’t get the 503 error).
