Server files deleted

  • Last night many of the wp_*.php files were deleted from public_html on my hosting server. The backup I had is apparently outdated as I keep getting errors in wp_includes/wp_db.php at various lines.

    Can I download all the WP files again? If so what files do I need to save that contain my data such as theme, posts, plug-ins, etc?

    Your posts are in The database and should be fine. As for themes and plugins… So long as the wp-content folder is there, you’re fine. If not, you’ll have to redownload everything for that. But yes, uploading from a fresh copy of the wp install will be okay ??
