Server Error Login keeps popping up

  • Hi for some reason I cannot access my admi login! I woke up one morning and it said server error and when I went to the site it said the same thing!! (https://cre8tivechemistry.com/) I really need some help. I’m not even sure what version of WordPress I have I just piked the first one that was listed but my blog is fairly new. How can i get back into my site to check the pluggins to make sure its not the cause?

  • You are running WordPress 3.3. Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Ok thanks for your help. One more quick question how do I do that. Do I need to have access to the server to make these changes? Because the site is hosted on a server someone is hosting for me.
