Server Error Code

  • Hi,

    I have another issue. If I am searching for anything with the letters “sil” for example “silver” I get this message:

    Error thrown
    Call to a member function is_active() on null

    Other search terms seem to work, but I havent tried all possible combinations…
    When I deactivate the plugin, it works fine.

    What happens if you try to search for “sil” with the Relevanssi admin search (Dashboard > Admin search)? Or if you try one of the default themes (Twenty Twenty for example)?

    The error message is unfortunately quite unhelpful, as it doesn’t give any context, so it’s hard to say where the problem is happening. Relevanssi doesn’t call is_active() anywhere, so this is likely something your theme is doing, and for some reason it’s getting null instead of whatever it is expecting… but without any context, I can’t really why, what or where.
