Server error (5xx) Google search console from WordPress site

  • Hi all! I have just got an error from the Google Search console: Server error (5xx), the files that are listed for causing the error:

    wp-includes/sodium_compat/namespaced/Core/X25519.php

    wp-includes/sodium_compat/namespaced/Core/Util.php

    The files are still in the directory so im not too sure why the erorr is occuring

    Hi fluiddesk,

    I have a couple of questions for you.
    – What PHP version are you running?
    – Did you change any of these (core)files?
    – Are you still using the default .htaccess? More info on this could be found here.

    Hey Arno,

    I am running 7.4 currently, I have not changed any of the core files recently and I do have an edited .htaccess which has litespeed cache and wordfence code.

    Have you updated the core files? Or just the rest around it?
