server error 500 w. 4.4 upgrade /tried deactivate plugin
-
Hello,
Very much a novice, but had great use of this forum before. I just can’t find a solution for this issue – I had the option of updating to the new version, and I usually just trust the dashboard and go for the recommended upgrades. I pressed upgrade for the 4.4 and waited, then scrolled down to see there were plugin upgrades as well, which I marked for upgrading too. Here’s where it went wrong. Somewhere between pressing upgrade, waiting a little, and refreshing, I got a “Server error 500 – The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.shitsandgiggles.dk/wp-admin/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.”
I read that deactivating all plugins might help, so I found my way to phpMyAdmin and did this but nothing changed.
Also, now I can’t find the option_name column or the active_plugins, which I assume have been deactivated then.
I have no idea what to do. I don’t know if it just takes some time or if I messed up somewhere. I’m using one.com if that’s a useful information. Any step-by-step would be greatly appreciated!
