Does your site’s error log shed any light on what the actual error is?

There is no error log generated for this problem, and 45 minutes on the phone with my webhost wasn’t enough to solve it. I may just move on to a different plugin.

There’s nothing manifestly differently about the venues page, it’s just a taxonomy page (like event category). I’d recommend checking your error reporting level – since there should be an error message.

You may want to try disabling other plug-ins/themes to check if there is a conflict.
