    Hi!

I’m new to wordpress and elementor 2.0.5 and I’m having a really odd issue with the english version of the about page of the website I’m currently working on.

So whenever I type “or” “and” in an elementor text edit section, I can no longer update it. The text box becomes greyed out and when I click on the update button I get:

    Server Error (403 Forbidden).

    – I have rollbacked to 1.9.8 but the issue remained.
    – When I use a wordpress text edit box, it updates fine.
    – I deactivated all plugins but that did not solve the issue.

If anyone has encountered this issue or has a solution, that’d be of great help!

    Thank you!

  • Ok and what about the Japanese language?

Me, I love and use all in one migrations, but I recall that it was not able to handle my sites where I used WPLM translation plugin, so it might not work with Polylang.

Never used updraft, but I heard good things about it, not sure how it handles multi language sites though, you should ask there if its compatible.

As you say you are a newbie, have you migrated a backup with updraft yet? You might want to practice first, that way you will see if it works flawless with Polylang.

I suppose you should be able to create a subfolder on this same domain and test/migrate a backup in there, see how that goes first just to be safe?

Taking a manual back up just in case is never a bad idea eather.

Hi again! I should get some sleep soon.

But good news! The problem is solved.

I did a bit of digging and thanks to my very limited japanese skill and the magic of google translate, I stumbled across this article in the support section of my host provider:

    https://lolipop.jp/support/faq/cgi/000681/

So basically it asked me to disable WAF when editing. I did that, waited 2 minutes and low and behold I was finally able to force the page update through!

I will still get in touch with the provider to see if I can in the future update the page without having to temporarily disable WAF.

Ah, that is good news, glad you found the cullprit.

    Have a great day!

Thank you again for the support, I learnt a lot of new things while trying to solve that problem.

I’m mark the post as resolved.
