• Hi.

I keep getting the 403 server error when I write my blog post to a certain length and then try to save it as a draft.

Have tried to change Wordfence firewall option to “Learning mode” but the 403 server error wasn’t fixed.

What are the other available options that can help to fix this?

  • Hi,

As written in the following guide, this can also happen because of a server firewall:
    https://docs.elementor.com/article/185-the-update-button-does-not-work

You have to ask your hosting provider if they can see errors coming from your server firewall.

Sometimes, WordFence is still active even when it is not in the list of the plugins, and there can be issues with their learning mode.
To rule out an issue with WordFence, you can open the network tab of your browser and check the preview and the response of the request that has a 403 status code. You should contact their support if the issue stems from their plugin.
