• Hello Bibblio:
Error 502 on login in function login_action().

The server encountered an error when attempting to communicate with Bibblio’s API.

I cannot connect to API for suggestions with plugin. My credentials are not a problem, because your Bibblio Related Content Module works.

    How can I fix this?

    Thank you,
    Mitchell

    Hi Mitch,

Thanks for flagging this. Sorry to hear you were having trouble connecting to Bibblio’s API. Are you still having this issue? When we were working together before, I know you were able to connect to our API successfully, so this may be due to a problem with IP communication. We will need to learn a little more about your underlying stack to help you debug.

If you’d like to contact us directly, please email [email protected], and we can get on a Google Hangout to help you identify the root cause. Hopefully we can get you up and running again asap.

    Best,
    Matthew

    Hi!

Activating the plugin causes a fatal error. Tested on different sites, the result is the same.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/g12274/public_html/site.com/wp-content/plugins/bibblio-related-posts/includes/class-bibblio-related-posts-configs.php on line 39

I hope you fix this error and I can use this plugin.

    Hi Vlad,

You might be using an older version of PHP. See here for reference: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40624805/parse-error-syntax-error-unexpected-how-to-fix-this-one

Our plugin is compatible with PHP version 5.6, or higher. Once you update, you should be able to use the plugin, but let us know if that doesn’t do the trick.

    Bibblio:

Yes you are right, the problem was old version of PHP 5.3. With version 5.6, this plugin works perfectly.

    Thank you!
