• I suspect this is one of the plugins I have installed, but I’ve searched through them and don’t see any type of option that would be doing this.

    In a nutshell I write post “A”, then write post “B” a few days later. Shortly there is a comment for me to approve on post “B” that is from the IP of my server, with no email address associated with it (even though in the comment settings I have it set that email and name must be supplied), and the comment is a snippet if post “A” surrounded by […] blocks and ending with a link to that article.

    I haven’t approved them yet. I don’t know if google or whoever would see this and penalize my site thinking I’m just trying to boost my own word count or something.

    Any insight?
