server crashing when updating post

    Hi,

    I have pretty powerful VPS compared to the traffic of my webiste. CPU usage is only 1-2% most of the time.
    But with this plugin whenever I try to update any post, my site stops responding . How can I fix it? Will increase memory limit or changing some php varibale solve this issue ?

    I really like this plugin but can not use it because of this issue. My site has around 2.5 post.

    You said, that you have “2.5 post” – do you mean 2.5K with that?

    This would be quite a lot and your webserver may run out of resources for building the index.

    For larger sites with higher resource requirements, we have specially created additional modes for creating the link index (documentation). With them, it is possible for example to let the index creation be done directly by your server (with the help of WP-CLI). With that setup, no load at all has to be carried by your web server. The feature is part of our Pro version.

    Sorry it was a typo. yes It is 2.5K post.
