    Hi,
thank you for the plugin first.

I know this topic has been discussed several times (I’ve read all previous ones) but the error remains in spite all the server settings are ok – or at least are consistent with the plugin’s requirements (see this image for details, please).

    Any suggestion to fix it?

    Best regards.

    Hi @christian70,

    Thank you for your message.

What is the exact error you are seeing? What version of the plugin are you using?

    This is the error:

Requests to images are processed by your server bypassing Apache. When loading images, rules from the .htaccess file are not executed. Check the redirects for .png file (for which the redirection does not work) and for .png2 file (for which the redirection works correctly). Change the server settings to stop ignoring the rules in the .htaccess file. Please contact your server administrator.

I’m using the latest version (1.4.2).
    Thanks.

    Hi @christian70,

    Thanks for your message.

Please read the error message again. It is impossible to better explain the issue. The message contains all the information to present the problem.

Unfortunately, I am not able to help you any more. This is a problem with your server configuration. The plugin detects such problems and informs the user about it.

    Please contact your server administrator.

I’ve already done, first. The administrator maintains the server settings are ok – given that main modules as GD are enabled – and suggests me to contact the plugin developer in order to ask if any other extra modules or settings must be enabled.

    I will keep the error,
    thanks anyway.

The problem has nothing to do with libraries. Please present him the content of the message and let him deal with it properly – I have the impression that this answer is simply trying to “get you off”.

Sorry, I fixed the error by restoring my previous version of the plugin (1.3.1). The error has disappeared and webp files seem to be correctly served (see console here).
