Serve Scaled Images – GTMextrix “F”

    Hey there. Thanks for making this plugin. Quick question though, is there any way to fix the “serve scaled images” issue I’m getting dinged for in GTMetrix while using this plugin? Our images are sized smaller, but the error is costing us load speed lag.

    Hey Goldendust20,

    The plugin uses image sources sent from the official Instagram API. These come in sizes of 640 by 640, 320 by 320, and 150 by 150. If your actual image sizes fall between these ranges (or are smaller than 150 by 150) they can be considered not optimized.

    We are considering adding a way to resize and store images that are the optimum resolution for your specific feed in the future.

    @goldendust20 I had the same problem also with my images uploaded in woocommerce. Just found the solution. You can solve it by enabling lazyload function. Tested with Smush and also with WP Rocket, I guess it will work with any other plugin providing this function.
